A story about driving to the club
You put your clubs in the car and set off driving to the club. Then you start thinking about something else, maybe you even start thinking about the round of golf you’re gonna play soon.
Then before you know it you’ve arrived at the club, and you remember little or nothing about how you got there. This should be a familiar story to everyone who drives.
And whether you realise it or not. Practically all golfers trust themselves to drive their car without thinking about it. But they do not trust themselves enough to do the same with a ball.
No instructions – Just say where you want to go
Golf is much more complex than driving a car, but same rules apply.
And you’ve already learned how to do it.
Now all you need to do is think where you want the ball to go and have trust enough to know that your body will make it happen.
Simple. Little thinking. Practically no instructions.
